This will be a panel discussion focused on the presenter’s career trajectory, movement into leadership positions, barriers experienced, etc. More information will be provided in the upcoming weeks.

Sheri will tailor her presentation to members of our society and share practical advice for what biomedical/clinical/medical engineering departments can do to help break systemic barriers affecting Indigenous populations based on the results from the Indigenous patient journeys. So we will hear firsthand from Indigenous patients what tangible changes we can make to help improve the system.
